The Martini, Perfected.

I have hit upon the perfect vodka martini.

3 oz. ice-cold vodka, preferable Tito's Texas Vodka
1 oz. dry vermouth
A martini mister filled with sweet vermouth (or and oz. of sweet vermouth)

Fill a martini glass with ice cubes and water; set aside to chill.

Pour vodka and dry vermouth into a shaker half full of ice.

Shake the livin' crap out of it until it is too cold to hold.

Empty your martini glass; dry the inside with a paper towel.

Give the glass two spritzes of sweet vermouth, or pour the sweet vermouth in the glass, roll it around then pour it out.

Pour out the shaker (strained) into your glass.

Add three vermouth-spiked olives.

Toast the Lord, Who maketh His people glad.

Enjoy! Delicious!

(Props to Mixerman for the inspiration)

I love to watch you shake and make your martinis and see the grin on your face but I'll stick with my merlot or an appletini, thank you very much!

However, since your martini-loving friends say you really do make a good martini I can't tease you too much.......
