They are making a Get Smart movie. Really, this TV show movie thing has got to stop. Hollywood is officially out of ideas.
I really think the rash of these movies is indicative of the unbelievable narcissism of the Boomer and X generations, and their desire to stay in their childhoods forever.

I thought it was indictative of a particularly lazy business culture, bankrupt for ideas and affraid of trying something new.
As a Gen Xer I must say that I am sick of Television being transferred to the big screen as well.
