as i understand the problem, i seems to be a false one. although i am in most ways a simpleton when it comes to the deep meanings of theology (prophecy, mystery, etc.) , the simple down to earth things come fairly easy to me. if we let the bible interpret itself, ie. let the words of Jesus' gospel mean what they truly mean, then it is not difficult to understand. so, Jesus being the Son of God, second person of the Godhead, preaches the gospel. if i've got a problem with that maybe i should find another religion, right?
not sure if this was the sort of discussion you were looking for, but it's what you got. :)

but seriously, i've heard preachers say that before. so what pastor Meyers is addressing is not only a problem within the reformed camp, but many other types too, esp. the Dispys.
