The Prophet's Burden

I'm currently working through the Book of Ezekiel. I'm beginning a careful study of all the prophets, because it's the modern Evangelical Church's neglect of the Old Testament that is at the root of Dispensational kookiness.

Just a few chapters in, it's obvious that it sucked to be Ezekiel. God required a terrible burden of him, one that most of us couldn't bear.

It's also obvious that it was worth it. He saw God exalted upon His great chariot-throne. Man I'd love to see that.
