Rules Are for Fools

Heard it again: "Christianity is not about keeping rules, it's about a relationship."

Keeping rules is a characteristic of the relationship. "If you love Me, keep My commandments." "Why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord' and not do what I say?"

I read my Bible, I see God bestowing His mercy on people, and then immediately telling them what He wants them to do.

We love Him by honoring His Law. Does God love you by simply feeling at you? Or by actually doing something?

We are to do something back.
