Education for Outrage

When was the last time you read the U.S. Constitution? I confess: for me it's been years. So I'm taking the time to actually read a list of our founding documents. They're all relatively short.

I'm going to start with the Mayflower Compact and work forward from there. I expect to write a lot of political rants as a result, so be forewarned.

Here's a taste: Article III of the Constitution establishes the Supreme Court but nowhere authorizes it to interpret the Constitution in the way it does today. Strict construction is assumed, IMO.
